August 1, 2026 · Black Books Matter Fest · National Harbor, Maryland

A book for anyone who loves someone

Precious “Preciosa” Myers-Brown brought Tech Equity to MahoganyBooks’ Black Books Matter Fest as a participating author. The book table and photographs with readers are part of its life beyond the page.

At the heart of the book are people who want to keep their freedom, make their own choices, and live full lives. Its invitation reaches families, caregivers, people with aging parents, and anyone who loves someone. These moments put faces beside that purpose.

September 22, 2026 · AI & Future Workforce Summit · Opening keynote

Taking Tech Equity into the future-of-work conversation

Precious delivered the opening keynote at the AI & Future Workforce Summit, hosted by the DC Department on Disability Services / Rehabilitation Services Administration.

The appearance brought the book’s work on enabling technology into a wider conversation about disability and the future of work. The connection begins with people: dignity, choice, and the freedom to participate in everyday life. That is the purpose behind the technology and the work that continues after the book is read.
